Masters of Commerce or M.Com is a post graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The 2-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc. taught in B. Com. Since, M.Com. is a specialized area in itself, only those candidates who have pursued B.Com, can go for it. M.Com. is also a good option for CA/CS candidates.

The course is largely about numbers, graphs and calculations, hence it is essential for an aspirant to have sharp analytical skills and love for numbers. The course helps sharpen logical reasoning, eye for details, ability to remember facts and handle pressure along with increasing knowledge of banking and financial sectors, building strong leadership qualities and familiarizing students to computers.
