about our Department

Best Education Institute

The Department of Social Work established its Post Graduation in the year 2010. The Department is keen to equip professionalism at its best to the students through wide range of avenues, exposure, network and activities. The students are well-trained to execute a range of social work activities in Non-Governmental Organizations, corporate and hospitals. The social work training program includes lectures, seminars, research and concurrent and Block field training. Our students are encouraged and given opportunities to present and publish papers in international and national conferences, workshops, seminars and webinars to enrich themselves with wide range of knowledge and research possibilities. The Department has signed MoUs with various International and Intercontinental Universities like Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Kenya. This brings opportunities for doing an international internship and short-term course for the students. The department also has a student forum called STEPS.

The Department recognizes society as an organic entity and thus several intervention programs help in nourishing and transforming the students as responsible citizens of this country. It brings countless opportunities to make difference in oneself and society.
