Mathematics, being the foundation of all sciences, is a subject that offers limitless scope for higher education. The Department of Mathematics in the campus of Hindustan College of Arts & Science was started as a full-fledged department in the year 2010 and is flourishing successfully from then. At HCAS, the learning experience extends beyond the classroom, through several student activities. The Department is well organized for teaching and guiding students toward the right path. It has 10 dedicated and qualified faculty with NET/SET or Ph.D. The Department helps the students to take up all competitive examinations. Also, our graduates are employed regularly in public service, administration, schools and private sectors, or cheerfully pursuing higher academic qualifications.
