The Department of Commerce (General), in collaboration with Vizhithezhu Thozha NGO, conducted an Outreach Programme on 23rd September 2025 at Vadakadambadi Village. The initiative promoted community development while offering students hands-on social engagement. Final-year students led activities such as awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and rural entrepreneurship, a drawing competition for school children on “Save Water, Save Earth,” and a tree plantation drive reinforcing environmental care. The programme received enthusiastic support from villagers and school children, encouraging sustainability, wellbeing, and livelihood development, reflecting the department’s dedication to social responsibility and student growth.
