Hindustan Community College
The Hindustan University and Hindustan College of Arts & Science are proud to introduce this new venture. The Hindustan Community College was established in 2010 under Indian Centre for Research and Development of Community Education (ICRDCE) headed by Fr.Dr.Xavier Alphonse. The first batch commenced on 19th January 2010. The second batch under Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of TNOU Dr.Kalyani Anbuchelvan, on 2nd September 2010.The students are given training in Life Coping Skills & Basic English skills.

Our Mission
The rural students who passed/failed from 8th Std to 12th Std, School Drop-outs, Women and existing work force those wants to update their skill based and need based education at an affordable cost leading to employment in collaboration with the industry.
Placements
We have a strong Industrial partner network with the various courses offered in Community College. The students have been placed in the following companies.
Vasan Eye Care, Tafe, Fine Point Pvt Ltd, India Infoline, Sugam Clinic, Multivista Pvt Ltd, Fortis Malar Hospital, Global Hospital, Ajuba, Chettinad Health City, ANTZA Technologies,Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Essensuals Hair Dressing by Toni & Guy.
Providing information, Advice, Guidance and Support for job-seeking students is considered as a primary responsibility at HCC. The second batch of Hindustan Community College was started on 3rd September 2010 with total number of 85 students. At present 75 of them have been placed, in association with industrial partners.
Company Tie-ups
The College has Industrial partners with amazon,Vasan Eye Care, Eureka Forbes, Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai, Essensuals Hair Dressing By Toni & Guy. The Students were given internship in the above said companies before completing their course.
