About The Hindustan College of Arts & Science focuses on both the internal and external development of the students. Our institution marks the involvement of students in the various bodies which work under the co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the institution. The leadership qualities of the students are trained, tested, and evaluated namely the Student Council. These unit work with the student representatives under the supervision of the institution.
The active involvement and representation of students are made sure under these that are the core units that facilitate the students’ involvement. The student representatives are trained to be good leaders and efficient team players. Leadership quality and team player spirit are co-operated amongst the students by this unis.
Every year students are elected by the college students who represent the college on the welfare of students. The purpose of the student council is to allow students to develop leadership to organize and carry out many cultural and sports events.
The students’ council consists of 21 members, representing the mass of the students in the college. These students’ representatives are elected democratically and are assigned various responsibilities. The members of the student council have the important role to serve as a bridge of communication between students and the institution. The representatives organize various cultural events under various themes and genres.
To ensure the participation of all the students in different activities and events organized and conducted in the college, the students are divided into four major houses namely Pegasus, Phoenix, Hercules, and Orion. These houses are led by the students’ representatives such as captains and vice captains.
Student councils provide a representative structure through which students can bring out the issues of concern and undertake initiatives of benefit to the college and the wider community with the help of the management.
The students’ representatives play a vital role in the well-ordered distribution of information and organization of events in an effortless way. These student representatives strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the college and are responsible for the duties assigned to them.
The council emphasizes sharing students’ ideas, interests, and concerns in making a better version of our college extra curriculum activities.
