The Department of Management organised a  guest lecture on “Career as an Auditor” was conducted on 01 July 2025 with the objective of creating awareness about professional opportunities in the auditing field. The session was led by Mr. K. Venkatesh, FCA, who served as the resource person. During the lecture, Mr. K. Venkatesh provided valuable insights into the scope of the auditing profession, highlighting career opportunities in statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and consultancy services. He explained the skills, qualifications, and professional ethics required to succeed as an auditor, emphasizing analytical ability, attention to detail, integrity, and continuous learning. The resource person also guided students on career pathways, professional certifications, and practical exposure needed to enter the auditing profession. Real-world examples and professional experiences shared during the session helped students gain a realistic understanding of the field.
