B.Com. Bank Management was established in 2010. The course provides a better curriculum in order to produce well qualified professionals required in corporate sectors. The course also encourages the students to know the real world perspectives and emerging concepts of the corporate sectors.
We have well qualified and eminent staff members. The department regularly conducts guest lectures, career development programmes, technical meets, industrial visits, employability training programmes, an Add-on course in Tally, educational tours to other states and also visits to various orphanages and old age homes to sensitise the students. The department conducts consumer awareness programme through citizen consumer club.
In recent years, there is a growing demand for qualified manpower in the banking and finance sector on account of emerging private banking institutions, a better platform in the business field and large scale retirement of personnel. Keeping this in view, B.Com (BM) course is designed to meet the immediate growing needs of banking sector. The students are exposed to general business principles, required accounting, economic and quantitative skills. After successful completion of the programme, the students have a wide scope of job opportunities in financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, non-financial organizations, securities and investment brokerage, financial scrutiny and investment positions, etc. Many business organizations in India are growing significantly resulting in providing increased job opportunities.
