The Hindustan College of arts and Science paid huge tributes to Mahakavi  Bharathiyar on his 137^th Birth anniversary.  The students faculty members and others participated in large number

It was presided by  Dr. R.Sakthi Prabha Dean School of humanities who said it is a pride to preside over such important occasion as this one.  The welcome address was given by Dr. T maharajah Pillai HOD department of languages who welcomed all to this important event and spoke on importance of this event.   The Guest of honor was the Principal Dr. S. Thirumagan who said it is happy to be here.  He  spoke on unity of country language consciousness humor songs discipline and talent as revealed in Bharathi’s writings and relevance it has today for  students one and all.  Dr. S. Sathiamoorthy faculty Department of languages summed up the proceedings of the event and Dr. Sridhar faculty Department of languages proposed a vote of thanks thanking all for making this a grand event.
