The Training and Placement Cell of Hindustan College of Arts & Science, has been on the fore in bringing about exciting job opportunities for all courses. It acts as a nodal point of contact for companies to identify the future workforce from HCAS. The Placement Cell has been striving hard to get employment for students in reputed companies, during their final year of study; this has resulted in students turning into employees right-out of their college life and smile in their parents’ face as their dreams come true.
Students make use of the many On-Campus and Off-Campus interview opportunities offered by various companies, and the Placement Cell facilitates students to choose various internship opportunities to aid their curriculum and Industry-Ready attitude.

Job Fair Event
Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Chennai, successfully hosted a *Mega Job Fair* on 31st August 2024 at the KCG Knowledge Centre, attracting 50 prestigious companies across various industries. The event, organized by the Placement & Training Cell and Alumni Association (HCASAA), marked a significant step in the college’s mission to enhance student employability. The job fair was inaugurated by Mr. Jambunathan Elango, Vice President of the Indo-Asean-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who emphasized the importance of education in shaping future professionals. “Education is the most powerful tool that transcends generations,” he remarked, inspiring students to leverage their learning for meaningful career success. Top recruiters, including Sutherland, upGrad, CAMS, and others, engaged with 120 students through interviews, with many shortlisted for final rounds. Offer letters will be distributed through the college’s Placement Cell.
The valedictory session featured Mr. Johnson W., Lead of Talent Acquisition at Sutherland, who shared valuable insights on navigating the placement process. Dr. Susan Verghese, Director of HCAS, encouraged students to seize such opportunities, reaffirming the college’s commitment to supporting their career growth.
Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Padur, Kelambakkam has conducted a mega Job Mela on (30.04.2022) Saturday. Candidates with qualifications of 8th standard to PG degree participated and secured job placements. Companies like HDFC, SURYODAY BANK, TECH MAHINDRA, MUTHOOT FINANCE, ABT MARUTI, TECH INDIA, INFOWAY PVT LTD, BANK BAZAAR, MEDICO HEALTH CARE, GLOBALINNOVATIVES, and more than 61 companies were present to offer jobs. More than 600 candidates from different parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the Job Mela and 342 candidates secured their desired job in various companies.
Chief Guest for the Mega Job Mela was Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, District Youth Service Chair, RI Dist.3232. and Guest of Honour was Mr. John Alex, ED & CEO of Equitas Holdings Ltd.
Management Dignitaries from Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Dr. Susan Verghese, Director, Dr. V.J. Philip, Deputy Director of Academics, Dr. S. Thirumagan, Principal, and Mr. Samuel Sampath Kumar, Vice-Principal, graced the occasion.
