HCAS Felicitates the Principal on becoming Syndicate member

HCAS today held felicitation staff meeting to honor the Principal Dr. S. Thirumagan on winning elections to become syndicate member of the University of Madras.   The Director Dr. Susan Marthandan Depity Director – Academics Dr. V.J. Philip Vice Principal Mr. Samuel Sampath Kumar College Chaplin Rev Joby Verghese and Director IQAC Dr. K. Malarvizhi were present along with staff members apart from the Principal Dr. S. Thirumagan and his wife Mrs. Bharathi Thirumagan

The Vice Principal Mr. Samuel Sampath Kumar welcomed the gathering and read two congratulatory messages from Dr. Annie Jacob Director KCG College of Technology and Dr. P. Duraisamy Vice Chancellor University of Madras on Dr. Thirumagan becoming syndicate member. There were 143 votes for him and he won with largest votes

Dr.Susan  Marthandan the Director in her felicitation address she was very happy with this and nothing is impossible and said everyone is working hard.  Madras University is cash  starved and VC is doing great job and want affiliated colleges to be more responsible  Our Chairperson Dr. Mrs Elizabeth Verghese wanted to be here in this function but want of time forced her not to come  We have planned big alumni event in December and it is going to happen and congratulated the principal on becoming syndicate member.

Dr. VJ Philip Deputy Director in his felicitation said he is happy with this and this is a big achievement and in his tenure of 40 years at MCC and here he could get to academic council and all decisions are taken at syndicate level wished the principal success in his work

Dr. Thirumagan the principal in his address thanked all and credited victory to Director Dr. Susan Marthandan who gave permission to canvass and said he will do best to college in this Silver jubilee year and to the university thanked everyone

Mrs. Bharathi Thirumagan wife of the Principal thanked everyone for congratulating her husband and said she is proud to be wife such accomplished person
